Gracing the cover is towering beauty 14-year-old Christine Patrimonio. The daughter of basketball star Alvin Patrimonio has been playing tennis for four years now and has been raking in the championships in the 16 Under girls categories in tennis. But she considers winning over the first seed in the 14 Under girls Adidas Tennis Challenge last 2004 as her biggest achievement. Passionate about God and tennis, Christine says "God is the one who gives me strength and has blessed me with athletic skills; and tennis because I just love to compete and challenge myself to be the best tennis player I can be."
Discovered while dancing with his twin brother and with no previous acting experience, Louie Nathaniel V. Lopez, 14, Nathan was cast in the lead indie film Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros and received a "Citation for Best Performance of an Actor" from Cinemalaya for his understated but charming performance as a gay pre-teen. Did you know that despite the fact that HerBench sponsored his wardrobe for the movie, he’s definitely straight in real life? So whom is he crushing on? "Angel Locsin and Anne Curtis," he shyly discloses.
Luke Landrigan, 23 is a top surfer who has won prestigious surfing competitions like the 2005 Lanuza International Long Board Invitational and the LA Union Long Board Open. Half-Filipino, half-Australian, Luke is also a crowd favorite when he gets on his board and showcases his talent. He is currently occupied with his surf school (Billabong San Juan surf school), traveling and competing in the Philippine Championship Circuit. Luke is passionate about helping kids in surfing and in their schooling. "Pero dapat priority pa rin nila yung school para makatapos sila, " says Luke.
