Toyota takes podium in Australia: Alonso wins again Toyota took its first podium of the Formula 1 season after an exciting Australian Grand Prix. Both Ralf Schumacher and Jarno Trulli qualified in the top 10 but they endured mixed fortunes in an incident-filled race. Early on the race, Ralf raced strongly and held on near the front but lost considerable time after the race marshals slapped him with a drive-through penalty. However, he made up for all the time he lost by making the most out of a succession of safety car restarts until he found his way to an eventual six points for third place.
