Lying Dumbbell Triceps Extension on the Ball | |
Grab a pair of dumbbells and lie down on the ball with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Keep your head well rested on the ball. Hold the dumbbells above your forehead with your arms straight and palms facing one another. Inhale and bend the elbows, bringing the dumbbells down until your forearms are almost parallel to the floor. Exhale and bring back to starting position.
Note: Keep the shoulder stable throughout the exercise in order to avoid a swinging movement. Keep your abdominals tight by using your core muscles to help you keep stable and balanced on the ball. Make sure your head is well rested on the ball to prevent neck injury. Use the right weight for you.
