Seventy years ago, the seeds of a fledgling publishing company were sowed because a husband and wife could not stand being apart from each other anymore.
A unique RPN-IBC wedding
Their love affair began while pursuing bachelors degrees at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila in the 70’s. Edith was a svelte and bubbly Tondo girl; Bob a shy and serious Sampaloc swain. Their paths crossed again in Broadcast City where both started at the lowest rungs of production work. In showbiz lingo, they were P.A.s, supernumeraries who had passion in their hearts, energy in their sleeves and drive in their foreheads.
