New game in town – business outsourcing PRESIDENT Arroyo is personally on top of the situation in seeing to it that the national disaster plan is on track to minimize loss of lives and damage to property in the wake of Typhoon Caloy. We sympathize with the victims of Typhoon Caloy and assure them of support and assistance. All hands of the national and local governments are on deck to check and warn of disaster-prone areas, provide relief and rehab to affected communities, assist stranded commuters and keep an eye on the prices of essential commodities. Sri Lanka truce just in name
COLOMBO – Rebel suicide attacks on land and at sea, assassinations, military aerial bombings in retaliation: Sri Lanka and the Tamil Tigers may both say they honour a 2002 ceasefire, but war has already resumed in all but name.
