Comedy concert queen Ai Ai delas Alas future husband has earned the respect of his bride-to-be when he agreed to sign a pre-nuptial agreement between them.
Jun Hinahon, Ai Ai’s younger boyfriend surprised his lady love when he didn’t give any qualms about the issue, showed her how much he understood the situation and signed the papers right away.
"When he signed it, lalong tumibay ang love ko sa kanya. Sabi ko ‘this is it!’ He didn’t mind signing it. Sabi niya okay sa kanya at wala naman daw sa kanya yun. He wasn’t offended. I explained that I needed to protect my children," intimated Ai Ai on the set of "Kapag Tumibok Ang Puso" recently.
According to Ai Ai, the pre-nuptial states that everything she owns before their marriage will not be his nor whatever she earns from her future jobs after they get married. But whatever she gives her hubby will just be the sole property of her husband and not hers. The same agreement also holds true for the guy with regards to her becoming his future wife.
The Concert Comedy Queen has fallen in love again and has actually found her life partner in Jun. Yet despite the blinding bliss a person in love experiences, Ai Ai always makes sure she is focused on her children’s future first and foremost!
The reason she became the "Concert Comedy Queen" is because of her children. Every perspiration, headache, sleepless nights, every centavo and hard work are for her children. And even if she has built them a house, and put them to good schools, they are still the driving force in her life and showbiz career.
Ai Ai also shared proudly that Jun and her kids get along very well. She’s happy that they have a "father image" to look up to.
"My children accept him with open arms kasi barkada namin ang family niya, they know each other well already. Parang magkakabarkada ang mga anak ko saka siya. Mahilig din siya sa bata. They call him Daddy," Ai Ai smiled with the revelation.
If given the chance, she would also love to give him a child, so she could also share the blessings her children are receiving now with their own child.
His manager and "Amang" (which means father in the vernacular) Boy Abunda was also thumbs-up about her latest romance. He shared to Ai Ai that when he saw them walking together at the badminton court some months ago, he thought that it would be nice if Jun would become her boyfriend. Viola! It came true!
His 22-year-old beau is single and they have known each other for three years already because of badminton. And it was almost six months ago that they formalized their relationship.
"What I like about him is that he’s very simple and not materialistic. He only had one girlfriend in the past. He is my husband to be and not a sex object or a boy toy," laughed AiAi. "Simple lang siya pero rock...di ko alam kung bakit ko siya nagustuhan. Naramdaman ko na lang. Sa edad niya hindi siya mahilig lumabas. Hindi siya ma-gimik. Mature siya for his age."
Another thing she likes about his young beau is that he is not intimidated by her work or how much she earns. Showbiz though is something he needs to get used to. This is why Ai Ai’s manager Boy Abunda is not allowing her beau to be interviewed, not just yet (as of press time).
"Ingat na ingat kasi hindi siya sanay sa showbiz...nakilala niya ako na artista so okay lang. Pero he freaks out when I’m very busy. But I already warned him about showbiz when people find out about us which was okay with him. Sabi ko enjoy na niya yung pag jeep kasi mawawala ang privacy niya," she said.
Jun came to Ai Ai’s life in the most opportune time. She was frustrated as to why she wasn’t getting much projects as in the past years. As a workaholic, she missed the nittygritty of a busy showbiz life. And without intending to she didn’t include a love life in her novena.
But the answered prayer came in the form of Jun.
"He’s my lucky charm. Maraming suwerteng dumating after naging kami," she quipped. "He also changed my life in different ways. Gumanda ako at tahimik na ako. Ayaw ko na ng masyadong maingay."
Ai Ai just came from a successful US Concert Tour (of LA, Reno, Las Vegas, San Diego,Chicago, and Atlantic City) with Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid and Rico J. Puno. She’s in the popular ABS-CBN "Bituing Walang Ningning" and has a number of shows and movies in the making. But what she is also busy with right now is promoting her latest action-comedyromance flick with Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr. entitled "Kapag Tumibok Ang Puso...Not Once But Twice."
Helmed by Wen Deramas, this film is her most physical, even compared to "Volta," where she played the superheroine.
Marlon Bautista, Imus Production’s bigwig, explained that her action scene with Bong Revilla was partly inspired by the duel scene of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in "Mr. & Mrs. Smith." According to him, there were lots of choreography involved and rehearsals before they shot the action-packed scene.
"Ang hirap ng action talaga. Singaporean pa yung stunt director namin. May mga tumblings at may mga actions na talagang di mo aakalaing gagawin ko. Of course I also got hurt in those scenes but nothing major," explained Ai Ai.
Playing a heart recipient, Ai Ai’s character is a far cry from her role in "Ang Tanging Ina." She describes herself as "sobrang salbahe." In fact it was because of her temper, wherein she threw a ball at Bong Revilla’s son in the film, causing a nose bleed, that sparked the said gruelling fight scene.
"Kapag Tumibok Ang Puso" is about an OFW’s plight when he found out his wife died from an accident. Because her wife was an organ donor, her heart was given to Ai Ai who was then in need of a heart transplant.
Not knowing what to do with his family, especially since his homecoming was being tagged by his children as the reason why their mom died, Bong decided to look for the recipient of his wife’s heart. What makes his goal exciting was that his neighbor, Ai Ai, who has always irked him, was actually the recipient of his wife’s heart!
(Touched by the drama in "Kapag Tumibok Ang Puso," Ai Ai is now interested in becoming an organ donor.)
Lastly, this is what she has to say about her lovelife and her movie.
"Kasi kapag tumatanda ka, gusto mo lahat tama. Kapag tumibok ang puso, lahat tama not once but twice!"
