The Da Vinci Code
AT the theater where I watched The Da Vinci Code, there were pamphlets around that were disputing things that the movie put forward. These discouraged people from watching the movie, but said, "If you must, watch it prayerfully." There have also been documentaries that have done the same. And the general buzz that the film has created, with its supposedly volatile content, has gotten it a lot of media attention leading up to its release. This would explain the jam packed movie houses. I was surprised; I expected more people to go out and watch the new Mission Impossible movie, but hey, try to tell people not to watch a movie and they probably will.
