Some parts of the country were being lashed by typhoon Caloy and try as it might, perennial on time airline Cebu Pacific could not help but fall prey to weather tantrums last week. When we landed in Cagayan de Oro, however, there was glorious sunshine and a surfeit of heat that the passengers thought a massive trick was being played on the country. The Anak TV team that sailed the high seas on trusty Negros Navigation was also laughing at news reports that billboards were helter skelter in Luzon because they hardly felt a bump enroute.
gantimpala presents ‘luneta’
Gantimpala Theater Foundation (GTF) in cooperation with the National Parks Development Committee (NPDC), presents Luneta, a Musical Revue on May 27, 6 p.m., at the Concert at the Park Open Air Auditorium, located inside the historic Luneta Park of Manila, as a special treat to the public now that summer has finally taken a bow.
