Everything starts here. Serving the community with truth, commitment and excellence. OUR LADY OF LOURDES COLLEGE (OLLC) is conveniently located along Gen. T. De Leon Road in Valenzuela City, a community of an ever-increasing populace. Over the years, OLLC has emerged as one of the most progressive schools in the metropolis. In just about five years, this learning institution has grown far beyond what was envisioned. All its departments – preschool, grade school, high school and college – serve as excellent venues for the educational growth of the children of Valenzuela and the nearby areas.
HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

The Our Lady of Lourdes College campus at 5031 Gen. T. De Leon Road in Valenzuela City. | | The school started its operation in 1986 as Cherubs Learning Center with only 17 kinder students. The grade school opened in 1987 with 222 students from nursery to grade three. Yearly construction of the school buildings was made to meet the growing educational needs of the children in the subdivision and in nearby areas. An abrupt increase of enrolment in 1988 occurred when from only 222 students, 738 students registered up to first year high school. The following year, enrolment rose to 1,255 students up to second year high school.
The present enrolment of 1,554 triggered the construction of the two-storey high school building with 14 classrooms. All classrooms with four existing school buildings such as the Main Building, Extension Building, High School Annex Building, and the New High School Building conform to the Department of Education Culture and Sports (DECS) requirements with sufficient and adequate facilities and furniture for the convenience of teachers and students.
OLLC, in its efforts to strengthen its quality of learning underscores the importance of a well-balanced and challenging curriculum. The use of superior textbooks and the competency of teachers and administration under the leadership of its owners Alfredo Demetillo, a prominent businessman and his wife Adelia Demetillo.
The Our Lady of Lourdes College aims to educate the children by providing a variety of learning experiences which will enable them to live, learn and develop as Christian individuals and members of society.. Every individual is made to become a better person, from A, B, C; every OLLCian eventually learns the meaning of life and the alphabet of living. The growth of OLLC is declarative in both human and material resources, providing the academic community with an environment conductive to learning. In short, the colorful and dynamic history of Our Lady of Lourdes College, only signifies a continuing development in providing quality education that clients deserve.
As it moves ahead to a new decade, OLLC hopes to live long and contribute more for the benefit of society.

The Our Lady of Lourdes College envisions a challenging future with ample and rich opportunities where technological competencies and skills equip students for global competitiveness. OLLC members are achievers and sharers of their gifts, talents and endowments.
The Our Lady of Lourdes College offers new courses this coming school year 2006-2007. These courses assure students to be competitive in terms of quality education despite cheaper costs. Continuously, OLLC provides students with good facilities, highly competent faculty members with Master’s and Doctorate degrees, and reasonable tuition fee for excellence in education.
The school's new courses are accredited both by Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). Apart from its College of Education, College of Business Administration and College of Arts and Sciences, OLLC has opened its College of Criminology. The new college intends to develop students to be better citizens aware of their political and social environment and ready to engage themselves in a democratic country.
The school also opened its TESDA courses such as Practical Nursing, Health Care Services, Hotel and Restaurant Services, Food and Beverage Services, and Computer Hardware Services. These two-year diploma courses lead to a bachelor’s degree. The school also offers various scholarship programs.
The complete line-up of courses offered by the college department includes Health Care Services, Practical Nursing, Hotel and Restaurant Services, Food and Beverage Services, House Keeping Services, Computer Hardware Services, Associate in Computer Secretarial, Associate in Computer Technology, Bachelor of Science in Criminology, Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor of Secondary Education (Majors in Social Studies, English, Filipino, Science, Math, and Physical Education), Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA Management, BSBA Marketing, BSBA Economics, and BSBA Technology Management), Bachelor of Arts majors in AB English and AB Political Science.
