Samsung Electronics Philippines Corp. (SEPCO) is calling on non-government organizations, civic groups and other cause-oriented organizations to send in applications for Samsung DigitAll Hope, the company’s largest regional social program that provides funding for the best technology projects that empower the youth and the disabled.
The Philippine contests focused on assistance programs for disadvantaged youth and people living with disabilities and provide solution on how they can lead richer lives through existing and new development technologies.
Last year’s grant awardee, the ERDA Tech Foundation received P3,000,000 for their winning program E.T. goes I.T. that benefited the economically disadvantaged youth from rural families by sending them to school.
Samsung DigitAll Hope aims to enrich lives with the technology and extend hopes across seven countries - Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
The applications are available on the website http://www.samsung.com.ph potential applicants may submit their entry to Angie L. Limbaco, G/F Bonaventure Plaza, Ortigas Avenue, San Juan Metro Manila at Telephone Number 722-7777. Dead line of submissions will be on June 30, 2006.
