The W850i in Precious Black or Golden White offers the new Walkman player 2.0 for easier and faster music downloads.  The new Walkman player also offers quick and hassle-free navigation through music genres, playlists, individual songs or music albums.  A TrackID™ feature powered by Gracenote Mobile MusicID allows users to record a few seconds of a song, either via microphone or the built-in FM radio, and with one click, send the clip to the Gracenote® worldwide music database which will identify the track and relay the information back to the phone.

New graphic capabilities make the W850i experience more visual with music metadata and album art. The download service is integrated so there is no need to come out of the music player and into the web browser to visit online music stores. 

The W850i also has an attention-grabbing ‘heartbeat illumination’ feature that lights up control keys in rhythm to the music.  The phone is configured for operator over the air (OTA) music download services and accepts many popular music file formats including eAAC+, which reduces the download time and space needed for the music tracks.  A 1GB memory stick PRO Duo supplied is enough for around 1,000 songs in eAAC+. This can be expanded to 4GB for a much larger mobile music collection.

The W850i has a 2-megapixel camera and offers fast internet access and web browsing capabilities, perfect for creating and maintaining blogsites anytime, anywhere.

Those of a more active lifestyle will take to the W710i’s advanced Walkman music player with MegaBassÔ pumped up with fitness applications that measure running speed, distance and time and a daily step counter that resets automatically at midnight.

Available in Performance Graphite and Hatha Violet, this quad-band EDGE phone also features a 2-megapixel camera with digital zoom and comes with a 512MB Memory Stick Micro, expandable to 1GB.  The fitness application can be accessed from both the sub-display and main display.  One’s progress is displayed even when the phone is on standby. 

The user interface is easy to use while on the move. The fitness application, Walkman player, and FM radio can all be controlled using the external display and with quick access keys next to it, one won’t need to open the phone to get information.  The FM radio can even function as an alarm clock.

The W710i comes with the latest Sony Ericsson accessories. The Active Clip IAC-60 is specially designed to make the W710i accessible and comfortable to wear, clipped to a bag, one’s waist or arm with an adaptable arm band.  The Stereo Portable Handsfree HPM-65 with a light design for ear hooks gives a stable fit even when on the move.

As with all Walkman phones, the music mutes when the phone rings and resumes when the call ends.  Like the W850i, the W710i also features TrackID™ from Gracenote Mobile MusicID.
