All with the goal of making it into the elite circle of finalists for the LIVE event this September 30 to October 1 at the World Trade Center, Manila to compete for 1.5 MILLION in cash and prizes!
Here are updates so far:
RPC 2006
The heat is more intense than ever with less than fifty days remaining before the server championships for the Ragnarok Philippine Championships 2006! The strongest guilds of each server vie for superiority to be the best in their respective realms, and come LU Live, the whole country. Whichever strategy the guilds use- military (Agit Lords) or diplomacy (Wild Card), the best of the battles is still yet to unfold.
Leaders of Agit Lord by server: Chaos-Grand Lethal, Loki – Loki Alliance, Iris – Ninja, Fenrir – Judgement, Odin – Demigods, Sarah – Ghosts, Lydia – Destruction, Urdr – Band of Tyrants.
RF NEST
Tensions in Novus are rising. The sounds of war echo as the Accretians, Bellato and Corites continue their campaign for server dominance.
Season 1 of NEST just concluded last April and match-ups for Season 2 are ongoing as I write this. The best guilds of Nexus and Altrax servers have claimed the playoff slots for Season 1. In Nexus, Carnage of Bellato claimed top honors as they defeated Accretian all-star guild Exiles and the Cora Team Prom in a display of team work and strategic skill. Accretian superstar and resident Nexus bad-boy, Satan666 had this to say; “They were good. Magaling sila gumalaw (Carnage). Hindi ako maka tama. Babawi kami sa playoffs kasi nasa damage ang lakas.” Carnage managed to get into the Season flights due a gracious offer of back-out by the other Bellato team, Shadows. Shadows is led by Bellato Archon papaSPY007. But papaSPY007’s boys, now named Demonz, are back in action as they take on Nexus stalwarts LargaBisaya (Accretia) and the all-star Cora Myth team in today’s Season 2 Qualifiers. Let’s see if the Bellato can continue their dominance of the Season Qualifiers.
Meanwhile, the Accretians of Altrax avenged their Nexus brothers by bringing home the bacon for Season 1. ArtiflexImperius won over Malulufet (Cora) and Red Army (Bellato) with a total of 3 points for the flight.

FREESTYLE ALL-STARS
The Open Division of FreeStyle All-Stars 2006 kicked off April 21, 2006. With 64 official café venues across the country, anyone can join the Open and get a chance to qualify for the Regionals and eventually for one of eight (8) slots for the finals at the Level Up! LIVE event.
The format for the Opens are 3 vs. 3. Just form your team, go to the venue and slam your way to victory. It’s that simple. At any rate, a total of approximately 150 teams have competed so far but only the worthy 32 slots are accounted for. The Opens is now half-way through and the rest of the 32 3-man team slots are still up for grabs. Expect intense online basketball action from Luzon to Mindanao! Neva Lose!

ROSE LION’S DEN
The first King of the Lion’s Den tournament started out with all the hype and excitement it had promised as two of the most celebrated clans on their home servers clashed in an epic battle of tactics and technique. Val0r represented Sirius and Legends was the flag bearer for Polaris. Although Legends swept the match 3-0, Val0r did not go down easily as they took the fight to the Legends with all ferocity. The succeeding two matches were no less intense, as InzoRavenloft won a second victory for Polaris, defeating Pasaway in a pitched battle during Lion’s Den 2. Salawayun managed to pull out a win for Sirius during LD3 as a combination of tactical errors and internal issues hampered the PhoenixLords. Registration is currently ongoing for Lion’s Den 4, and we expect the best Clans of ROSE to participate as well.
On the political front, the Royal Courtiers of Eldeon have been chosen; WarGODs took the title, by popular acclamation. The nominations for the Luna Royal Court are currently ongoing, and voting will start on June 1.
Four of the eight Clans have been chosen for the honor of participating in Lion’s Den Extreme. Who shall reign supreme?
The competitions are heating up and we’re expecting a lot more warriors to join the fray. Are you up to the challenge? Just head on to the official LIVE website for more details:
