The lambs can be silenced no more, as some of the finest restaurants and hotels in the Philippines treat their customers to the many ways of enjoying Australian lamb, being participants in the month-long Oooh-La-Lamb festival from May 15 to June 18.
Organized by Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA), the festival is a one-month affair that aims to promote Australian lamb by inviting the country’s top chefs to come up with innovative dishes using different cuts of Australian lamb.
Now on its fourth year, the Oooh-La-Lamb festival will showcase over 60 chefs from different dining establishments with their varied lamb concoctions.
According to Agnes Itchon, the Philippine representative of MLA, they are extremely pleased because the numbers of participating outlets have increased significantly and for the first time, dining outlets in Tagaytay and Cebu are now part of the festival.
Participating establishments include restaurants and hotels in Metro Manila like Bollywood, Cafe Havana, Gaudi, Mandarin Hotel, Old Swiss Inn, People’s Palace, Hyatt Regency, and Pepato.
In Tagaytay participating outlets are Antonio’s and Tagaytay Highlands, and in Cebu, Waterfront Lahug and La Tegola.
