Eighteen candidates from all over the country will face off with six representatives from Filipino communities abroad in this year’s Mutya ng Pilipinas beauty pageant to be held at the AFP Theater, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City on Friday, June 9, at 9 p.m.
This year’s 24 official candidates are Vera Eumee Reiter, Lorraine Orpilla Erum, Christie Ronaele Lingon, Ameurfina Koc, Lothyssia Van Heddeem, Diana May Tejeros, Sheena Kay Perez, April Love Jordan, Patricia Hernandez, Grace Zamora, Joemel de Guzman, Finky Carandang, Emily Maningas, Rare Claudette Navarro, Ma. Theresa dela Cruz, Honey Jean Conde, Michelle Villadiego; and Unica Casacop.
The "imports" are Monica Konig of Germany; Norway’s Kirby Ann Basken; Monica Cervantes, North East Coast, USA; Christine Adela, White-South East Coast, USA; Shanae Elaine Haw, Northern California; and Jennifer Camacho, Southern California.
