THE X-COM M410 1GB MP4 PLAYER

Joypal 552 from KingCom
I had the Joypal 552 digital mp3 player for 2 weeks and tried and tested it. I didn’t have an mp3 player before and so there is no other mp3 players I can compare it to. What I found appealing about this specific mp3 player is that it is so simple to use. I’m not very good with computers and I found it very easy to send files. It is also very small, compact and very lightweight. It’s easy to carry around. It is so easy to hide that I imagine, a student who owned this piece of technology would be able to get away with it in class. It has a small screen in which you can view pictures, preferably at 96x93 pixels, pictures with bigger size run slower. It has a built in memory of either a 256MB or 512 MB. It supports mp3,. wma., wmv,. wav., form of music file. I know for a fact that other mp3 players have a lot of different colors but the Joypal 552 only comes in either red or black. Actually, there is nothing new about the preface. It still looks like any other mp3s in the market today. It has, like any other mp3 players, a built-in lithium battery. There isn’t a lot of accessories too. It’s just the same cable USB to connect to the computer and for the charger. It’s easy to bring when traveling light.

The Good Old days of Ragnarok
It's been a while since I wrote again for this column. I guess I'm excited to share my thoughts again with you, dear readers. This week, allow an old RO vet to reminiscence about pRO. I remember the good old days of pRO. Back in the beta-days, everyone who enjoyed this “curious, cute RPG” were literally eating, breathing and sleeping the Ragnarok lifestyle. Back then, nobody knew about builds, optimized elements for killing monsters, the best places to level up or even the benefits of an over-upgraded weapon. During the good ol' beta days, all I ever wanted to do was kill monsters, level up my character and get lots of zenny. It was plain and simple FUN! And yeah, I admit... I enjoyed every minute of it.

Blog-O-Rama
Rickey Yaneza is living proof of the fact that entertainment blogs do matter, and they matter a great deal. His eponymous site has become the ultimate source and forum for all things American Idol, with its legions of fans from around the world. During peak months, a post can generate more than 1,000 comments and 30,000 unique visitors per day. So successful is rickey.org that it has spawned another site that deals with the latest developments in Philippine showbiz and the local reality TV arena, fittingly called pinoy.rickey.org. What's happened so far is certainly not bad for a blog which started out as a "sounding board" for its owner's personal angst as a struggling, perhaps lonely chap in the Big Apple. "Everything I've experienced was unexpected," he said once in an interview. Even though Rickey appears to us as a modest, regular guy, some of his blogging colleagues can't help but say that with his established niche and deft marketing mind, he might just be on his way to building his own blog entertainment empire. Read more in the following interview:

The other side of the coin
As the IT Manager and concurrent Technews Section Editor of the country’s leading newspaper, I regularly receive anonymous e-mail informing me of vulnerabilities and site defacements. The only way to verify that the e-mail I receive is true is to go to the allegedly vulnerable site and see for myself if indeed it is true that the said site is vulnerable.
