On City Garden’s Roof Deck
itting loftily on the roof of the City Garden Hotel in Makati, Roof Deck Poolside Bar and Grill isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a respite from the hustle below.

The Vinegar Primer
vinegar has enchanted countless people and inspired the universal interest of civilizations. The vinegar’s taste, its natural process of production, and its "percentage-fermentation" gave rise to countless culinary developments since the earliest times. With countless classifications of vinegar use, this wonderful ingredient is a necessary element in all the kitchens of the world.

A different twist on coffee
Bo’s Coffee Club, one of the leading coffee shops in the country, recently opened a new branch right inside SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City to expand its services and to cater to its growing number of customers. It’s the only coffee shop that offers different twists in coffee concoctions inspired by different countries.

The Good News Aside From Omelets, Pancakes & Steaks
If you think you’ve tasted it all, think again. Heaven ‘n Eggs added more dishes to its menu to fill your heavenly cravings.

Rockwell’s Culinary Jewel
There is a sense of difficulty when one chooses to sample Chef Pat Mesina’s cuisine in Kulinarya Bistro of Rockwell Mall, Makati City. It’s always difficult to spot a bad dish, or perhaps it’s almost impossible to get unsatisfied with the dynamic concoctions of this hub, especially for people who know the true value of good food.

Jakarta’s Authentic Indo Cuisine
Indonesian gourmet aficionados can now enjoy their culinary favorites right in the heart of Manila. Jakarta Inn - Piano Bar and Restaurant recently opened in Malate to serve up classic Indonesian delicacies as well as some contemporary epicurean treats.

From Iloilo To Manila
Pretend you relaxed your summer away in a province filled with serenity, great food, nice (not the Manila kind of nice) people, clean air and bountiful seafood. Make believe you tried their healthy chicken inasal (barbecue) that’s good right down to the bones. Fake a tan, if you wish to go further. But whatever you do, don’t forget to try Chicken Bacolod.

Simply Beer!
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always enjoyed my bottle of beer with pulutan on the side--from store bought munchies, to sizzling plates of sisig, to portions of more exotic dishes like baboy damo (wild boar) and tapang usa (deer meat). To those who prefer beer to other alcoholic concoctions, drinking it by itself is already a superb experience; but to imbibe it with either a little snack or a culinary feast before your eyes is truly divine. I believe that many share this sentiment based on numerous parties and events that happen seemingly everyday. More often than not, the beer served will be partnered with food somewhere nearby. While informal get-togethers like inumans (drinking gatherings) give some leeway to beer and food pairings, planned or organized gatherings tend to require a more harmonious relationship between beer and the food that is partnered with it.
