Question: I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro.1.5. I'm asking if it is compatible to copy the transition plug-ins of Vegas 5.0 to Adobe Premiere Pro. And what site do I get the freeware plug-ins! tnx! and God Bless! - Dennis Jimenez.

Dr. J:  An editor friend of mine said that transition plug-ins of Vegas are for Vegas only.  The same goes with Adobe Premier.  There are third party transition programs that can work with both Premiere and Vegas.  Visit their respective websites, I believe they offer some freeware plugins there.

Question:  Hi! DrJ, How can I restore some pictures in my webpage? Only red x mark is shown?  - Buddy Arboleda.

Dr. J:  The red X mark means that the image cannot be displayed.  And the most probable reason for this is the absense of your image file in your server.  Go to your web host server and check if the image file exist.  If not, simply upload the image file and everything will be OK.

Question:  I bought a portable hard disk. I would like some helps on how to put an operating system on the portable hard disk and make it bootable. -  JJ.

Dr. J:  You can only boot from a portable hard disk provided that your computer supports External Hard Drive booting BIOS.

Question:  Can I erase the search history in Google?  I have some important keywords there that I don't want my officemates to see.  Please help.  Thanks.  - Raymund Basal.

Dr. J:  I think you're using Internet Explorer because IE has this feature called Autocomplete.  To turn this off - Open IE, Goto Tools / Options. A window titled "Internet Options" will appear. Click on the "Content" tab.  Click the "AutoComplete" button.  Uncheck all of the boxes for "Forms", "Web Addresses", and "User names and passwords". This will stop new Google searches from being logged.

Question:  How long are rewritable CD's good for rewriting. I only use Nero start smart for burining with the open multi session. Is it right that when I delete the files I dont anymore use and then proceed rewriting, it would be already a recordable cd? Thanks to technews. - Ronald.

Dr. J:  CDRWs are just like your harddisk and diskettes where you can save and delete files.  The re-writable discs can be rewritten approximately 1000 times.  But you have to keep in mind that CDs are vulnerable to scratches which can affect its lifespan.
