LETS TALK ABOUT SEX
In a Catholic country such as ours, the topic of sex either draws titters of nervous laughter, or scandalized glares. No middle ground seems to exist. You are either an overly promiscuous, ill-mannered and uneducated lout, or an ultra-conservative, convent-bred spinster whose mindset has remained firmly entrenched in 1611 Philippines.

Should Conquest be axed?
Last week, this column praised Conquest host Vanessa Untalan but rated the IBC show three Valiums like its predecessor, Chow Time.

Streetspeak
The Youth and Campus Bulletin went out to discover what the people on the street thought about incorporating sex education in the curriculum. We asked them two questions: Do you agree with the Department of Education’s decision to remove sex education from its modules? At what age and how should young people learn about sex, sexuality and reproductive health?
