Market check for stolen phones ordered
Director General Oscar C. Calderon, chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), yesterday ordered the PNP National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) to implement a "market denial’’ strategy for stolen merchandise, particularly cellular phones in an effort to curb incidents of phone snatching and other street crimes in Metro Manila.
