The Congress will bring under one roof the latest advances in swine and poultry health management, genetics development and nutrition technologies aimed to focus on farm owners and managers, feed millers and suppliers, the media, teachers and students, researchers, and other industry practitioners.

Exhibit doors will open to the public on August 10 with more than 140 corporate showcases from leading agricultural and animal pharmaceutical companies. Free seminars will be conducted by local and foreign industry experts on August 10 and 11 to introduce current concepts and trends applicable to local conditions through appropriate best practices. Leading practitioners from Europe during the seminar sessions will put special emphasis on piglet nutrition, artificial insemination and farm systems technologies.

For the first time in its history, the 23rd Boar Auction will be staged right in the PICC halls on August 11 through the cooperation of the International Training Center for Pig Husbandry (ITCPH) under its National Swine Performance Testing Program. Outstanding Landrace, Large White and Duroc boars from the country’s top swine breeders will be placed on the auction block.

The event was primarily conceptualized with strong focus on the swine and poultry industries – considered as highly significant agricultural subsectors – to further strengthen and increase overall long-term production efficiency.
