Wireless networking vendor Aruba Networks, Inc., which has had a regional presence since early last year, is expanding its footprint in the Asia market in response to market demand.
To realize this, the California-based company appointed Transition Systems to be its key distributor in South Asia. In the Philippines, the Aruba products will be marketed through TS Philippines Corporation.
"Transition Systems is important to Aruba’s growth in South Asia. The irreversible trend to mobility has taken a firm hold in this region, and wireless LANs are now a proven, secure technology," said Mark Robands, Vice President, Asia Pacific for Aruba, in a press release.
He added, "Aruba is a recognized leader in the industry and the only company offering a modular system that provides centralized control of all access, security and mobility services. As the wireless arena continues to grow, Aruba and Transition are ideally positioned to benefit."
For his part, in the same press release, Jonathan Lee, Group Managing Director, Transition Systems, said, " We are seeing considerable demand from resellers and customers for WLAN and mobility solutions. Aruba has a strong presence in all sectors - education, healthcare, technology, hospitality, retail and manufacturing."
Founded in 1999, Transition Systems is a regional value-added distributor of networking products. Aruba manufactures and markets a complete line of fixed and modular mobility controllers, wired and wireless access points, and an advanced mobility software suite.
Other products distributed through TSPhilippines are Packeteer solutions e.g. PacketShaper appliances, FalconStor Software and Crannog Software.
