Marvin would have courted Rufa Mae

If not for Erik Santos, Marvin Agustin admitted that he could have fallen for "Oh My Ghost" co-star Rufa Mae Quinto.
"It’s not hard to fall for someone like Rufa Mae. She’s become this funnier, sexier and more beautiful person than she was before. Kahit na multo siya sa pelikula, nakaka in love pa rin," the actor told the media during the recent press conference for the horror-comedy starrer produced by Octo Arts Films.
In fact, if a ghost who looked like Rufa Mae crosses Marvin’s way, he will not think twice in falling for her. "Kung kasing ganda at kasing sexy ni Rufa Mae yung ghost, bakit ko naman hindi mamahalin lalo na kung kilala ko pa siya noong buhay pa siya."
In real life, Marvin disclosed that he has been going out with his co-star on friendly dates. "We’re friends and we enjoy each other’s company but nothing more to it. Kung mayroon mang nakakakita sa amin ni Rufa Mae sa labas it’s just because we’re friends."
According to Marvin, he is aware of what Erik Santos and Rufa Mae have for each other. "Nakikita ko naman sila at masaya naman sila. I wish them both the best and I’m happy for them."
At this point in Marvin’s life, many are wondering when he will be completing his happiness by searching for Miss Right. Marvin is a new father to his twins and is making up for lost time since his father was released from prison. "I’m so happy right now with my twins and being with my father right now."
Aside from his family, Marvin is busy with his restaurants. "Cooking for me a passion like acting is. If show business is my first love, cooking is my mistress. Hindi naman ako nagmamadali. I believe everything will fall into place in due time."
In "Oh My Ghost," Marvin plays Rufa Mae’s best friend who has had feelings for her. Just when they started seeing each other in a different light, Rufa Mae is killed accidentally when the characters of Carlos Agassi, Uma Khouny and Paolo Contis try to rape her.
Rufa Mae then seeks for vengeance as an angry ghost out to torment her rapists while keeping the passion between her and Marvin alive.
This horror-comedy directed by Tony Y. Reyes ("Ispiritista") also stars Jose Manalo, Sugar, Jackie Aquino and Dick Israel. "Oh My Ghost" will hit theaters on Aug. 16.
