Divine Word College of Laoag Founded by Rev. Fr. Alphonse Mildner of the Society of the Divine Word (SVD) in 1946, the DIVINE WORD COLLEGE OF LAOAG, earlier known as Saint William’s College is the society’s educational apostolate in the northern part of the country. During its first four years of formation, Fr. Mildner served as director and was followed by the two-year term of Rev. Fr. John Vogelgessang, SVD.
