Divine Word College of Laoag
Founded by Rev. Fr. Alphonse Mildner of the Society of the Divine Word (SVD) in 1946, the DIVINE WORD COLLEGE OF LAOAG, earlier known as Saint William’s College is the society’s educational apostolate in the northern part of the country. During its first four years of formation, Fr. Mildner served as director and was followed by the two-year term of Rev. Fr. John Vogelgessang, SVD.

Baguio coed wins silver medal in Junior World Wushu Cup
BAGUIO CITY- A seventeen year old freshman martial artist brought home pride for the Philippines when she bagged the silver medal in the 56 kg category of the World Junior Wushu Championship held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last August 20-25.
