Hotels are constantly renovating, upgrading, and reinventing themselves. Hotel promos are a dime a dozen, as it is with the promise of generous price cuts. The City Garden chain of hotels isn’t telling a different story, and they’ve started with their dining rooms. First, they’ve upgraded the Lotus Garden Hotel’s lobby restaurant into the Cilantro Sports Bar. Now they’ve set their sights on City Garden Suites’s Café Miranda restaurant.

CUISINE OF THE FUSION QUEEN There was only one thing in my mind the moment I checked out Timpla’s Restaurant, situated in the ELJ Center of ABS CBN Quezon City, fronting Pantoja Bakeshop, and that’s to declare, if I could, Chef Pat Mesina as "the Queen of Pinoy Fusion Cuisine." Of course, the basis would extremely be subjective, and I knew people and chefs here and there would forklift some high brows if I would declare, so I decided to simply esteem her cuisine as one of the best in Philippine modern F&B.
