Guimaras State College
Conceived in 1962, through an approved municipal council resolution authored by Hon. Tomas Junco Sr., the GUIMARAS STATE COLLEGE first saw light as a secondary vocational institution – the Buenavista Vocational School (BVS) – in 1964 by virtue of Republic Act No. 3933, principally authored by 2nd District of Iloilo Representative Rodolfo Ganzon.
