Ask Dr. J Question: I too would like to consult my problem, although it occurs sporadically, that hampers my productivity. A message pops up which tells me this, "Delayed write failure at c:\xxxx\xxxxx.xx, etc." I have tried to increase my virtual memory size from 512 to 1GB, defragmented then optimized my MFT, freed the disk from junk iles, etc. all to no avail. Would like to correct this through direct editing my registry but haven'd done so for fear I might foul-up my windows registry. I also have de-selected SATA as non-RAID in my BIOS set-up owing to my 2 HDDs of different capacity. Question, what triggers this and what can I do to correct this? Thanks if you can post this as a return e-mail. Please help! Am at my wit's end. - lvcervantes.
