The Olympus FE-190 is a slim, metal-bodied camera that brings into a whole new level of simplicity. Measuring only 18.5 millimeters and having a large 6.4 centimeter LCD screen, Olympus considers the FE-190 as part of their newest entry-level class of digital cameras.
It features a simple one button, one function design that gives a user-friendly advantage. The FE-190 is equipped with 3x zoom lens and a 6 MegaPixel CCD capable of producing high-definition shots that can be reviewed with ease on the built-in LCD screen. It has the Olympus TruePic TURBO processor wherein high resolution photos are quickly processed as real-time images.
All images taken by the FE-190 are saved either in the camera’s internal memory, or in a xD Picture Cards. It also has the included Olympus Master software wherein all the images can be downloaded, organized, edited and printed using a computer. It even allows special artistic effects, including 3D and oil painting, be applied to images.
The FE-190 is equipped with a Mode Dial that selects different camera programs, reducing the need to navigate through the list of menus. Programs include image stabilization, Super Macro functions, and movie recording with sound.
