TACLOBAN CITY — Two children were killed when they were pinned by fallen trees that were knocked down by typhoon "Seniang" that hit the islands of Leyte and Samar Saturday afternoon.
Tanauan (Leyte) Mayor Roque A. Tiu said one of the two fatalities was a girl in Barangay Cabuynan.
"Seniang" blew away roofs, uprooted trees, damaged agricultural crops and left thousands of residents homeless.
