Samsung Electronics Philippines, Corp. gives grants to 2 winners of its Samsung Digital Hope grant program; a program that leverages technology leadership to provide a brighter future for the disabled and the less fortunate in the Philippines, and is one of the life-enhancing projects of ATRIEV’S FOUNDATION AND KNOWLEDGE CHANNEL FOUNDATION.
In its fourth year, the Samsung Digital Hope 2006 has awarded funds to organizations for projects such as Don Bosco’s E Learning and Erdatech.

The awarded organizations are evaluated by an independent judging committee comprising acknowledged authorities in the spectrum of community, youth and infocom technology (ICT) development.
This year’s regional judges for Samsung Digital Hope include Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports and Second Minister for Trade and Industry, Singapore, Dr Pairash Thajchayapong, Permanent Secretary of Thailand’s Ministry of Science & Technology, Dr. Kusmayanto Kadiman, State Minister of Research & Technology for the Republic of Indonesia and Mr. Dao Ngoc Dung, General Secretary, Youth Union, Vietnam and Ms. Margie Moran-Philippines.
As for the national judges, Bambam Aquino-Former CEO and Chairman National Youth Commission and President of TAYO (Ten Outstanding Youth Organization), Paolo Manzano-Editor of Hardware Magazine and Mr. Spencer Shim, Pres and CEO of SEPCO.
