If drivers practice fuel efficient driving techniques on their day to day trips, less fuel would be used. Any form of savings is fitting in times of spiraling fuel costs."

Totally Amazing i-VTEC fuel eco run, a fuel driving competition series, is open to car owners of 1.8 Civic equipped with i-VTEC engine. Together with Motolite, the official battery of Totally Amazing i-VTEC fuel eco, BPI/MS Insurance, Concept One Wheels and AVT Intelligent Car Multimedia, the event aims to promote fuel economy consciousness by imparting key efficient driving techniques.

Two legs are dedicated for highway driving, while the other two will be conducted under city driving. The first leg is open to 1.8 Civic A/T owners and will be held on Dec. 16. Assembly will be at the Chicken Bacolod Inasal (Greenhills) and the official flag-off will be at the Total station in Greenhills.

Participating 1.8 Civic A/T owners will receive free full tank of Total premier unleaded gasoline and other Honda premium items. Prizes also await the team with the most fuel-efficient Civic.
