Elf, the official lubricants partner of Formula 1 champion Renault F1 Team is the new lubricants provider of Nissan Motor Philippines, Inc. (NMPI). Specially formulated for Nissan vehicles are Elf Z-Charged Synthetic 5W40 and Elf GT-Tuned Premium 20W50 engine oils.
These formulations are a product of Elf’s rich history in Formula 1, spanning 38 years and boasting of an impressive record of 15 world titles, 134 Grand Prix victories and 155 pole positions out of the 465 Grand Prix entered including Driver’s and Manufacturer’s Championships for 2005 and 2006.
The knowledge and experience gained in Formula 1 is applied in the development of Elf lubricants for day-to-day use. Product engineering benefits from the same Formula 1 advanced skills, the same development tools and identical methodology and standards.
The technological solutions developed in racing – such as the anti-wear and anti-oxidizing properties and the performance of the oil film are used for developing solutions for all Elf products including Nissan’s Elf Z-Charged Synthetic 5W40 and Elf GT-Tuned Premium 20W50 oils.
