Fujifilm, constantly on the forefront of leading and top-quality digital photography technology and printing, is taking on its forward-thinking mission even better through a new, more dynamic logo.
The new logo design streamlines the Fujifilm brand, doing away with the old red hexagon symbol. In its place is a sparse but eye-catching and more dynamic red geometric symbol integrated in the stylized typeface of the brand name ― a modernized symbol for an even more forward-thinking, innovative company. It also bears the spunk of Fujifilm’s aggressive capital investments and research and development focus that now operates in fields like medical imaging and life sciences; documents; graphic arts; and high-function materials such as flat panel displays, electronic materials, and optical devices.
With Fujifilm working towards business development and expansion, the unveiling of the new corporate brand logo aims to clearly communicate continuing growth thus, straightening further its corporate brand including the Philippines. Fujifilm’s exclusive local distributor YKL Color, in its effort to synergize with the significant change in the global corporate structure, adopted its own new look to reinforce Fujifilm’s presence in the country even further.
Given the new logo and the soon-to-be defunct competitor Konica-Minolta which will cease to operate worldwide by March of 2007, Fujifilm is expected to dominate even more the lucrative and highly competitive market of digital photography and printing globally.
