The Taste of a Starbucks Holiday

The Christmas season is not just felt with the decorations seen around the metro, but also in every Starbucks coffee.

As part of their holiday tradition, Starbucks brings out the Starbucks Christmas Blend - a mix of Latin American, Asia-Pacific and Indonesian coffee prepared three to five years before it is served every season. This blend can be enjoyed as any one of the Holiday Trio beverages.

For those who want a rich, buttery toffee taste with the flavor of toasted nuts try the Toffe Nut Latte. The Gingerbread Latte appeals to those who yearn for that classic holiday favorite having the flavor and aroma of freshly-baked gingerbread cookies swirled with Starbucks espresso, velvety steamed milk, and finished with whipped cream dusted with nutmeg.

There is also the Peppermint Mocha for those who want to indulge in thick, premium chocolate with a refreshing twist of peppermint.

Aside from the Holiday Trio beverages, Starbucks also offers new and tasty treats like the Holiday Spice Loaf (cake loaf topped with sweet cream cheese frosting and candied orange rind), the Jalapeño Cheese Roll (a savory roll mixed with pepper and cheese), Toffee Butterscotch Bar, and Gingerbread Cookies.

A new range of indulgent, hot chocolate beverages join the Starbucks menu. These handcrafted, quality beverages feature intense, full-bodied chocolate flavor and rich, silky textures which provide an indulgent chocolate experience.

"Our Signature Hot Chocolate is a decadent, sophisticated cocoa beverage that is dramatically different from what customers might expect of hot chocolate," said Ding Bustaliño, head for marketing. "Whether it’s the finest ingredients or the experience in our stores, our customers will see first hand the care in which Starbucks baristas create all our handcrafted beverages.

The Starbucks Decadent Hot Chocolate has a balanced bittersweet and milk chocolate flavor which comes in three irresistible variants: Signature Hot Chocolate (made with Starbucks’ new signature cocoa blend topped with whipped cream and dusted with premium cocoa powder), Caramel Hot Chocolate (creamy Signature Hot Chocolate blended with sweet, rich caramel syrup topped with whipped cream and drizzled with buttery caramel sauce), and Hazelnut Hot Chocolate (hot chocolate blended with hazelnut syrup topped with whipped cream and dusted with premium cocoa powder).

Each cup is passionately made using the finest cocoa ingredients steamed with milk to achieve that creamy texture and full-bodied flavor for a heightened chocolate drink experience that one can enjoy only at Starbucks. All Signature Hot Chocolate variants may also be enjoyed over ice for a refreshing, indulgent treat.
