The future at hand SCI-FI movies in the ‘80s portrayed life in the future as one with androids and human cyborgs, transporting through space by means of speed-of-light autoships or teleportation, and rocking out-of-this world style and individuality. If we fast forward that era’s preconception of what the future holds, then we are in it now. We are living in the future.
Little Miss Sunshine WHILE abroad the big flicks are coming out, here foreign films are waiting for the MMFF to pass before they try and make their runs. And still we have on our hands a quiet little film that could well spread some sunshine in these more than gloomy, rain-drenched days.
