The New Logitech G25 Racing Wheel For the serious racing gamer out there, the racing wheel is an important gaming peripheral. High quality racing wheels deliver new dimensions in gameplay and unparalleled realism that the usual gamepad can never surpass. It is the only way to truly enjoy and give justice to all sophisticated and meticulously built racing games. Logitech has delighted racing gamers with the Driving Force Pro (DFP) which features a unique 900-degree steering radius (2 ½ turns on each side) and a sequential shifter knob that is incorporated onto the steering wheel base; not to mention its fantastic force feedback from a large motor that provides an exhilarating driving experience. The Logitech DFP has remained superior over all commercial racing wheels and no other brand has come forward to even challenge it. Now, Logitech is raising the bar even further and is releasing the new G25 Racing Wheel. Don’t be fooled by the simplicity of its name; this new racing wheel from Logitech is the first one to incorporate a clutch pedal and a 6-speed H-type shifter in a commercial racing wheel. We were lucky to have been chosen to do the review for the G25 and we will now share with you our honest thoughts and opinions on this most advanced commercial gaming peripheral to date.

WATCHING IT The year 2006 is gone, but memories of the things it brought upon us will linger for quite a while, if not stay forever in our collective memory. Scandals, disasters, wars, and everything else that sometimes weaken our faith in mankind’s capacity to remain human, they all have dotted the path painfully etched by the past year.
HAVING FUN WITH I.T. The web is an information haven for everyone to use. More than the knowledge it offers, the web also allows people to do a lot of activities like chatting, socializing, blogging, gaming, and a lot more. These activities, while fun, come with some dangers if used wrongly. Any parent whose child goes online will definitely have worries about who they might meet and talk to in cyberspace.
‘Star Trek’ game: a bold voyage "Star Trek: Legacy" boldly goes where no video game has gone before by including the actual voices of all five Star Fleet captains over the years — James T. Kirk to Jonathan Archer.
BROADBAND Happy New Year! It’s 2007, finally. I hope you all had a fun but safe New Year’s Eve. I spent a few days in Cebu with my family, going around and being intentionally low-tech, resting my hands from all the typing and mouse-clicking.
TV and Sports Not a Problem with XaviX For people who are too shy to go to the gym, run outside the park, or you just need to get fit at the comfort of you own home, Xavix is all you need.
BLOG-O-RAMA His blog posts always start with a question because his objective in coming up with a personal site is "to answer questions, both profound and inane." This is the reason why his blog is titled "Fool For Five." It takes after the proverb " One who asks a question is a fool for five minutes; one who does not... remains a fool forever." Meet Rico Mossesgeld, who describes himself as "a marketing specialist by day, a freelance graphic designer and writer by night." Aside from getting personal at www.fool45.com, he can also be found blogging for a living at The Smart PDA and Contract Worker blogs.
The NEXT Generation In our current fast and technology-slaved lifestyle, mobility of a device is an important factor. This is the reason why we see gadgets shrinking by the day. Ironically, despite the downsize, the quality of the technology even gets better. This is absolutely true in videos. We were so happy with the technology of betamax (ooops, I think I gave away my generation) then VHS, then LD, then VCD then DVD and now the incoming High Definition Blu-Ray discs. My 6 years old precious daughter cannot even understand the concept of rewinding after watching!
Open Source WIFI Access There are currently two major wireless internet access providers in the country today; Airborne Access and Globe Wiz. Currently, the cost is approximately PhP100/hour of access or less, if you decide to subscribe to the service. Having WIFI access in places that you frequent is heaven-sent especially when you are a road-warrior. I am glad that I have an Airborne Access account (expires next month, I believe) but frankly, I have not used it as often as I have expected.
REALITY BITES It’s been weeks now since an earthquake measured at magnitude 6.7 hit Taiwan that caused massive telecommunication disruptions throughout Asia, and up until now we are still experiencing slow internet service. Broadband connection suddenly turns to 14.4kbps modem speed. People are asking why is our connection here in the Philippines affected by the Taiwan earthquake?
Jabra’s Dynamic Duo: BT260s Headset And A125s Adapter That’s the reason why people want to go wireless? Because they don’t want to have those wires hanging around like snakes or worms. If you always carry an mp3 player with you, you cannot avoid having an earphone’s wire around you and it is really annoying. It also makes an unfashionable statement, especially for fashionistas. (I don’t mind the wires unless my gadget has Bluetooth.)
