The ceremony feted the best and brightest in Philippine sports who made 2006 a truly memorable one. It was held at the Entertainment Hall of the SM Mall of Asia last January 18.

Boxing icon Manny Pacquiao bannered the 68 sports figures and personalities honored during the affair sponsored by San Miguel Corp., SM Mall of Asia, Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Philippine Olympic Committee (POC), Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), Philippine Basketball League (PBL), Welcoat Paints of owners Terry Que and Raymund Yu, Mikee Romero’s Harbour Centre, Teletech, sportsman Hermie Esguerra, Air21, NBN-4 and DZSR Sports Radio.
