Town may replicate Thai anti-opium project
KAPANGAN, Benguet — The municipal government here is now trying to learn from the success story of Thailand on the eradication of opium plantations in its bid to stop marijuana growing at the tri-boundaries of Benguet, La Union, and Ilocos Sur.

Big marijuana plantation in Bukidnon raided
CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — Joint operatives of the regional Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA-10) and the Philippine National Police on Saturday confiscated about P15 million worth of dried majiruana leaves and plants in a raid of one of the biggest marijuana plantations in a barangay in Talakag, Bukidnon.
