Our Lady of Manaoag Montessori College
Our Lady Of Manaoag Montessori College (OLMA), formerly Don Martin Montessori College, in San Juan Balagtas in Bulacan marks another milestone in its colorful history with another foundation day celebration on February 26, 27 and 28, 2007. A relatively new school – but a pioneering one in its area – OLMA is owned and run by couple Mr. Fernando A. Capili and Mary Jane M. Capili. The couple conceived a Montessori school offering high standard of education with competent professors and instructors, standard facilities but affordable tuition fees.

OLMA, the home of the champions
Our Lady Of Manaoag Montessori College (OLMA) excelled prominently in academics, cultural events and sports for two consecutive years now. Its students won various competitions organized by the Bulacan Private School Association (BULPRISA) both in district and provincial meets, and in the Bulacan Association of Technical Schools (BATS) and Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Skills Test competitions.

E3 finalist brings Cebu top global marketplace
The local youth are more innovative than they are given credit for. This is evident in the remaining finalists of the first Entrepreneurial E-commerce Excellence Awards (E3), a competition co-presented by Mozcom and the Union Bank of the Philippines. Launched last November 2006, E3 serves as an opportunity for college and postgraduate students to display their entrepreneurial prowess and technical genius. The entrepreneurial mindset, some believe, is difficult to inculcate among the youth. This is the challenge that E3 presents, and a promising few have responded beyond expectation. As of press time, the finalists are on the implementation stage and getting one step closer to being hailed as the winners.

Young lay volunteers step up for cleaner air

Going healthy and active in school
Children love sports. Well, it depends on what kind. They also love to eat but it’s a choice of chips or chocolates. Kids are probably the most health unconscious individuals, they don’t mind what they do and what they eat, all they want is watch their favorite cartoon show while eating chichiria.
