REALITY BITES
For most Filipinos, financing is a popular way of owning things - popular in owning cars, houses, furniture, gadgets, entertainment systems and others. And if you go to most of the malls, car dealers and appliance stores, you will notice that not only do they offer financing services but they also offer it with zero interest rates. It’s an attractive way to own things combined with easy payment schemes.

IT SHOPTALK
In the old days, we get cameras from camera stores or photo shops that also offer film developing services. As photography "purists" still continue to use film cameras over digital ones, the old-school photo shop is still around offering the same service. But they are now also selling digital cameras and accessories.

BLOG-O-RAMA
Even though he doesn't possess a digital SLR yet, web designer and programmer Ricky Manzano has been getting some people's attention with his site "Project Manila." It is a photoblog, and like most of its kind, it says in so few words what its still images can more adequately express. The author says the site is an attempt to "document my exploits in different parts of the metro" using mostly his trusty camphone and bulky digital cam. His photographs, it seems, were striking enough for Project Manila to be nominated in last year's Philippine Web Awards and now the Philippine Blog Awards. More in the following interview:

This offers two major advantages. First, it helps users find these valuable features. Second, it simplifies the core authoring scenarios by allowing the Ribbon to focus on creating great documents.
