13th Congress adjourns
The Senate adjourned yesterday without fixing a date for future action and not waiting for a concurrent move from the House of Representatives, which had failed to muster a quorum since last Monday, the start of the last four days of the 13th Congress.

264 pass licensure exam for dentists
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced yesterday that 264 out of 802 passed the dentist licensure examination given by the Board of Dentistry in Manila this month.

Two physician-lawmakers criticized Sen. Manuel "Mar" Roxas II yesterday for insisting on his own version of the Cheaper Medicines Bill, which they alleged to be "toothless" as it would get rid of a regulatory board to provide a price ceiling to all types of medicine.
