Taps Axis Global to distribute new line of laptops, MP3 players
Europe's best-selling home PC and MP3 brand Packard Bell has recently award local IT business provider Axis Global to distribute their new line of laptops to the Philippine market. The said partnership welcomes the SB 17” and MB 15” range of laptops – the first wave of Packard Bell laptops aimed for both on-the-go professionals and stylish consumers.
For the Philippine market, Packard Bell ahs launched three EasyNote laptops – namely the EasyNote MB65-009, the EasyNote SB86-006 and the EasyNote MX36-026. The new, top-of-the-line portable computers are equipped with Intel Centrino Duo platform based on Santa Rosa technology to provide users better computing and energy-saving features, as well as integrated Wi-Fi 802.11n standard for wireless connectivity.
The MB series come with a 15.4-inch LCD while the SB series sport a big diagonal 17-inch. Both series are equipped with a powerful graphics card, in the form of the nVida 8600M GS, with either 256 or 512 MB of onboard memory. Gamers are sure to enjoy these computers not just because of its graphics capabilities but also for their compact and elegant designs.

The technological features at the foreground of the MB and SB series are numerous and enhance the user’s experience for every moment. The new sSATA standard makes it possible to connect portable storage devices with phenomenal transfer speed: the improvement compared to USB is 232%. It is perfect for exchanging photographs, videos and music at any time.
To store all these content, the SB range even allows the presence of two hard disks carrying a maximum storage capacity of 320 Gigabytes. Users who wish to keep in touch will also be happy to see the presence of an integrated 1.3-Megapixel webcam on both laptop models. The said laptops come complete with Windows Vista Premium operating systems, DVD-RW Dual-layer optical drives and 6-cell Lithium-ion batteries.
The EsyNote MB 8 and SB 8 are considered top-of-the-line portable PCs that carry a rare level of attractiveness. The design team conceived them with a unique and exclusive appearance whose key words are elegance and amazement. The flawless glossy dark finish coats their purified lines. Two circles surrounding the touchpad and the logo on the rear of the screen are subtly lit to warmly accompany users in every situation. Sharp observers will also notice and appreciate a complete numeric keypad to facilitate the use of many varied applications.
Aside from the launch of the EasyNote laptops, the company also brought to the country two of their stylish MP3 players – The Pulse and the Vibe 360. The Pulse MP3 player is available in 512MB and 1GB capacity, and comes with three different interchangeable colored caps (black, white and pink). It supports full speed USB 2.0 data transfer, plays MP3 and WMA digital audio formats, has an integrated FM tuner, voice recording feature and seven color backlights.
On the other hand, the Vibe 360 has a design thinner than a pack of chewing gum with a 1.8-inch color display – allowing users to view photo slideshows and watch video clips in full color. It is equipped with Packard Bell’s “Diamond Surround” technology, a Karaoke function, and 6-mode equalizer. The 1GB model includes an FM radio feature and it can be also used as a voice recorder.
