Romancing the Bay 2: A Grand Bridal and Debutante Fair
CHU-U-YEN EVENTS and 1 ESPLANADE held the second edition of Romancing the Bay: A Grand Bridal and Debutante Fair last July 21 and 22. The affair was primarily designed to showcase 1 Esplanade, the venue by the bay, as well as the expertise of noted food caterers, gown designers, event stylists, photographers, videographers, cake confectioners, souvenir makers and all other wedding-related product/service carriers. Couples sampled the sumptuous food prepared by VS & F Classic Food International during the two-day event.
The event’s overall theme, Elemental Magic – earth, fire, wind and water, was aptly interpreted by stylist Pido Villanueva, creating an ambience that enhanced the character of 1 Esplanade. The same theme was reflected in the bridal couture show that featured designers Carmen Lazaro, Ferdie Gila and Marvin Jaucian of Nobel’s Creations; and Sammy Amante Jr. F-Salon showcased their artistry with the elements-inspired hair and make-up of the models.
