PMCI’s pride and glory
With the theme: "One Vision, One Endeavor towards One Strong Learning Community," Pangasinan Memorial College, Inc. marked its 58th year of existence since February 23, 1949. Every year, this crowning glory and pride of the institution is commemorated with fun-filled activities full of excitement and thrill like academic skills Olympic, sports competitions, parlor games, cultural and ballroom dances and many more.

LaSalle College International hosts Fashion Grazers at the Podium
A kaleidoscope of colors and impeccable haute couture designs delighted the audience at the Podium Activity Center in Ortigas last August 11. This is the first international fashion school in the Philippines, Canada’s LaSalle College International (LCI), made a stylish presentation of its curriculum through the creative expressions and different personas of its own educators and renowned fashion designers, Danilo Franco and Gerry Katigbak. For years, Canada’s LaSalle College International lived up to its name, as it represents glitz, glamour, pride and heritage of the fashion world.

Standouts
The constant belief that there’s more to improve for the greater good, and more to accomplish in the service of God and man—that’s magis. The Latin word for "more," it espouses learning as a lifelong process.

Are there jobs after college for graduating students?
With more than eight million Filipinos working overseas, there is an increasing concern that the college degrees that students take either force them into overseas employment or leave them without work and dependent on their families here in the Philippines. The huge increase in the number of nursing graduates is symptomatic of this trend. Unfortunately though, many students now are only focusing on studies that will lead to employment overseas and this brain drain will slow down the already stunted development and progress of the Philippines.

The digital evolution of learning
The digital age has come and conquered almost every aspect of the human life. From communications to trade to entertainment, people have indeed fallen into the digital crevice. Most individuals are already dependent on these digital devices, which run a seemingly digitally based lifestyle.
