Panasonic, one of the pioneers in the electrics and electronics industry, recently uncovered its newest cutting-edge technology in full blast with its widest gadget network at the Hotel Intercontinental.

As they embody greater innovations with "Think Excellence" as an important guiding principle in their product concepts, features and designs, the latest Panasonic widgets hope to continuously respond to the call for greater development in the modern Filipino lifestyle.

"The demand for the newest technology in the Philippines has grown rapidly over the years, so more and more companies work hard to upgrade their products every minute," said Rene Almeda, Panasonic Philippines President. "Consequently, as we consider how these innovations bring convenience to the consumers, our current products also provide the latest technology being enjoyed all over the world."

Panasonic’s VIERA Flat panels, incorporated with high definition and revolutionary V-Real technology and highly convenient, unique HDAVI control and VIERA Link, now put forth the latest visual entertainment line that promises vivid picture quality with the new TH 65PY700 plasma TV and the TX32LX700, TX-32LX75 and the TX-26LX75 LCD TVs. With a Full HD plasma panel, the TH65PY700 has 1080P Input capability, dark contrast, 10,000:1 dark area, anti-glare filter and 4096 equivalent high level gradation. It also has an invisible and super slim speaker system and the SRS Tru Surround that provide lifelike sound system for better viewing pleasure. The LCD TVs, on the other hand, contain a smart sound button speaker system, PC Input and are available in more compact sizes to help save space for home entertainment.

As for Panasonic’s hi-fi sound entertainment system, the SC-NC9 and the SC-NC6 incorporate various proven technologies to deliver sound of the highest quality. They feature multi-layout speaker system for optical sound quality from every music score and user preferences. Panasonic’s SC-NC9 and SC-NC6 also allow users to choose either of the two amp drive systems and to configure the speaker units in several different ways.

Digital photography will find newer areas of enjoyment as Panasonic’s exquisite digital still and video cameras provide intelligent auto technology and state-of-the-art Leica Vario lens that keep memories in high definition, best testified by the new Lumix FX100 with 12.2 megapixels, 2.5" LCD plus a 28mm wide angle lens. This sleek and stylish camera is available in silver and black colors. Panasonic’s HDC-SD5, the world’s smallest 3CCD HD Camcorder, and the HDC-SX5 keep mobile memories in full-high definition with its 10x optical zoom, 2.7" Wide LCD, and memory storage capabilities in both DVD and SD card.

Panasonic’s most anticipated innovation was the all-new Panasonic’s 103-inch 1080 HD Plasma Display, the world’s largest Full HD Plasma TV, that features consistent and uniform discharge, brightness and delivers the same accurate images from the center to every corner of the screen. It also offers superior characteristics including dynamic contrast, true-to-life color reproduction, quick response time for sports and programs with fast-moving images and a wider viewing angle, a significant factor for large screen display. The high-contrast plasma panel Real Black Drive System and Deep Black Filter gives the picture quality exceptionally deep, rich blacks and produces cleaner details even in dark scenes.

Panasonic has also tested its capabilities for professional applications by incorporating the 103-inch plasma panel with the popular game console Nintendo Wii, a revolutionary wireless gaming console that has wowed the Filipino gaming audience in its arrival in the country.
