The Department of Education (DepEd) has expanded its mobile teaching program in Southern Tagalog-B with the recent deployment of several new mobile teachers to provide basic education to children in far-flung school-less areas in the region.

Mimaropa education director Paraluman R. Giron said the hiring of additional mobile mentors came after Education Secretary Jesli Lapus released eight more teacher items for the program in the region composed of island provinces. (Tony Pe. Rimando)
