i-nivea-tably nice
Maui Cruz-Herrera,
It was our pediatrician, Dr. Susanna Lim-Lopez, who introduced us to NIVEA Baby.
Amanda, my 8-month old daughter, was diagnosed by Dr. Lopez to have very sensitive skin. She would easily develop skin rashes and red blotchy marks especially on her arms and on her back. This is why I’m very cautious when choosing baby products for Amanda. I make sure that the products I buy are mild and hypoallergenic but with a nice scent.
I was glad to see that NIVEA offered a complete range of baby products from baby oil to baby soaps and even shampoos! I bought several NIVEA Baby items, and so far, we’ve been more than satisfied with all the products we’ve tried.
Amanda just loves to bathe, and the NIVEA Baby Head-To-Toe Wash makes it much more convenient because it gently cleanses the hair and body at the same time. The mild scent also complements Amanda’s natural baby smell. Amanda tends to rub her eyes during bath time and I noticed that the product did not irritate her eyes or make her cry.
Amanda’s skin tends to get dry so I also tried the NIVEA Baby Milk Lotion. I love it because it does not leave a sticky feeling on Amanda’s skin and keeps it soft all day. I noticed at first that the scent was too mild but I think it’s better because it means it’s mild enough to use even on infants and babies with extra sensitive skin.
I also love the NIVEA Baby Powder. Amanda is getting to be active which makes her sweat a lot. The zinc oxide in the product protects her skin from skin irritations. I use this on her body and nappy area to prevent diaper rashes. I also noticed that the powder dusting is less compared to baby powders I’ve tried before.
All in all, I definitely recommend NIVEA Baby products especially for babies who have sensitive skin like Amanda. It’s hypoallergenic, mild and smells great on baby’s skin.
I’m glad that I decided to try NIVEA Baby. Although a bit pricier than other brands in the market, it’s worth it because I want nothing less than the best for my Amanda.
