Below are the early warning signs of Cerebral Palsy
For babies over 2 months
• Baby’s head lags when you pick him up while he is lying down.
• He feels stiff or floppy
• When you cradle him in your arms, he seems to overextend his back and neck, as if he is pushing away from you.
• When you pick him up, his legs get stiff and cross each other.
For babies over 6 months
• Baby does not roll over
• He reaches out with only one hand while keeping the other fisted
For babies over 10 months
• Baby does not crawl on all fours
• Crawls in a lopsided manner, with all his weight on one side of his body while he drags the opposite side.
• Does not sit without support
