The Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) will hold a creative musical theater and basic acting workshops starting October at its Creativity Hub.
Interested parties, age 17 and up, will learn basic knowledge, skills and attitudes on becoming stages actors.
They will experience different acting schools as applied to renowned Filipino playwrights’ works.
Respected actors, directors and writers will conduct the workshop.
In creative musical theater workshop, participants will learn everyhting they need to know about voice, composition, movement and dramaturgy as well as the different Philippine musical forms.
Participants will hold their original stage musical production as their graduation piece.
Classes are scheduled on Oct. 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 29, 31, Nov. 2, 3 and 4.
Course fee is P6,500.
