With the theme "Imaging to the Highest Level," the event incorporates seminars, trade shows and photo exhibits to maximize the opportunity for interaction, learning and fellowship between and among delegates and the public.

Congress lecturers are award-winning photographers and videographers Lito Sy, Jorge Maniquis, Dino Lara, Ariel Javelosa, Richel Mascariñas, Lito Genilo, Jun Miranda, Jason Magbanua, Raymund Marcelo, Edwin Tuyay, Lee Llamas and Robert Lester Aliscad.

Seminar topics include On-Line Marketing, Convert Your Hobby to Profit, Wedding Photography Digital Workflow, How to Market Your Photography Business, Timeshifting Editing Techniques, Achieving the Film Look with Video.

As a culminating activity, there will be a separate whole-day master class on October 25 featuring top-caliber Australian photographers Martin and Ryan Schembri.

Martin Schembri is a 25-year veteran and is recognized as one of Australia’s best wedding and portrait photographers because of his creative approach to photography. He recently won both wedding and portrait categories within the same year in the annual print competition Wedding & Portrait Photographers International.

Ryan Schembri is the youngest Master of Photography with the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers (AIPP) and the youngest winner of the Wedding Photographer of the Year award of the New South Wales AIPP.

There will also be wedding photo and video contests where entries should be submitted to the WPPP Secretariat on or before October 10. Winners will be announced on the last day of the Congress.
