A time to challenge yourself and change your company's future

The prospect of doing business is bright and the opportunities are everywhere - ready to be seized by those who have the passion and patience to venture into an enterprise.

However, these opportunities also give rise to competitors who are out there to challenge your business in the fight to rise above the rest.

"Whether you are new in business or holding on to the top, you face each day with new decisions that will make or break your brand, company or your career. Therefore, it is really important for decision-makers to challenge and equip themselves with the latest in marketing and sales," said Chiqui Escareal-Go, President of Mansmith & Fielders, Inc. (www.mansmith.net).

Mansmith & Fielders, Inc. has come up with marketing and sales seminars for the month of December aimed at providing participants a complete marketing know-how. Registration is now ongoing and early bird discounts are offered for the various courses.

The seminars include the "4th Strategic Marketing Seminar: Analyzing Industry and Opportunities" which is set on December 4, and the "19th Marketing and Sales Implementation: Excellence in Strategic Execution" set on December 6 to 7.

"One seminar will teach participants the framework of marketing implementation by developing marketing and sales capabilities, by using effective communication and coordination and by clarifying functional roles and responsibilities," said Chiqui. "The other is geared toward making participants see the bigger picture in the language of top management." Both seminars will be facilitated by Josiah Go, a multi-awarded marketing educator, who was recently cited for "Lifetime Achievement" by the Association of Marketing Educators.

On the other hand, the "2nd Place Strategy: The Missing Piece in the Marketing Plan" on December 11, will teach participants how to develop a place or distribution strategy in preparing a marketing plan. A group case presentation that directs participants to integrate what they have learned from the sessions will cap the day to enhance the learning process. Emilio Macasaet III will facilitate this session.

"This seminar is oriented to marketing managers, brand and product managers who are growing frustrated over pale sales executions of their marketing plans," said Go. "This is a timely course considering the changing trend of consumers and the growing competition with foreign brands."

For distributors or sales teams, the "8th Managing a Successful Distributor Operation" on December 6 to 7, and the "7th Client-centric Selling" on December 4 to 5, would be perfect for them. They will learn the effective strategies and techniques employed by successful distributors and sales personnel must-attend events not only for beginners in the field but those who are experienced as well.

"The seminar provides the frontline veteran an unlearning, learning and relearning opportunity to evolve directionally away from career extinction, and the sales neophyte, a powerful head start against reinvented selling veterans and hotshot novices," said Go. The Client-centric selling will be facilitated by Rowen Untivero while Emilio Macasaet III will handle the seminar on distributor operation.

All seminars are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and will be held in Makati City . Those who will reserve early can enjoy an Early Bird discount. There will also be a special price for group registration of 4.
